How to Install IPTV Apps on Google TV and Android Devices

Install Downloader, enable the matching device permission when needed, then choose the free IPTV Smarters Pro option or the premium IBO Player Pro option to connect your IPTVSMARTERZ subscription.

Important Notice

IPTVSMARTERZ does not own, operate, or develop IPTV Smarters Pro or IBO Player Pro.

Both are third-party IPTV player apps. They do not include channels, movies, series, or IPTV subscriptions.

This guide only helps IPTVSMARTERZ customers install compatible IPTV players and connect their IPTVSMARTERZ subscription.

You may choose:

  • IPTV Smarters Pro: Free app option
  • IBO Player Pro: Premium paid app option

You only need one IPTV player.

Before Installing an IPTV App

IPTV Smarters Pro and IBO Player Pro can be installed using the Downloader app.

Complete the shared setup steps first.

Android phone and tablet users may skip Developer Options when installing an app directly from Google Play Store.

When installing through Downloader, allow Downloader to install unknown apps.

Part 1: Install Downloader App

  1. Open Google Play Store on your device.
  2. Select search.
  3. Search for:
    Downloader by AFTVnews
  4. Select the Downloader app with the orange icon.
  5. Click Install.
  6. Wait for installation to finish.

Do not open Downloader until permission to install unknown apps is enabled.

Part 2: Enable Developer Options

Use the instructions matching your device.

Google TV Devices

Use these steps for devices such as:

  • Chromecast with Google TV
  • Sony Google TV
  • Hisense Google TV
  • Other Google TV devices
  1. Open Settings using the gear icon.
  2. Go to:
    System → About
  3. Scroll down to:
    Android TV OS Build
  4. Press the OK/Select button 7 times.
  5. Continue until the following message appears:
    You are now a developer
  6. Press back.
  7. Go to:
    Apps → Security & Restrictions
  8. Select:
    Unknown Sources
    Or:
    Install Unknown Apps
  9. Find Downloader.
  10. Turn permission ON for Downloader.

Xiaomi TV Devices

Use these steps for devices such as:

  • Xiaomi TV
  • Xiaomi Mi TV Stick
  • Xiaomi Box S
  • Xiaomi TV A Pro
  1. Open:
    Settings → Device Preferences → About
  2. Scroll down to:
    Build
  3. Press the OK/Select button 7 times.
  4. Continue until Developer Options are enabled.
  5. Return to:
    Device Preferences
  6. Open:
    Security & Restrictions
  7. Select:
    Unknown Sources
    Or:
    Install Unknown Apps
  8. Find Downloader.
  9. Change permission to:
    Allowed

Other Android TV Devices

Use these steps for devices such as:

  • Nvidia Shield
  • Mecool
  • Philips Android TV
  • Android TV boxes
  • Other Android TV devices
  1. Open:
    Settings → Device Preferences
    Or:
    Settings → System
  2. Select:
    About
  3. Scroll down to:
    Build
  4. Press the OK/Select button 7 times.
  5. Continue until developer status is enabled.
  6. Return one menu level.
  7. Open:
    Security & Restrictions
  8. Select:
    Install Unknown Apps
  9. Find Downloader.
  10. Change permission to:
    Allowed

Android Phones and Tablets

Android phone and tablet menus may differ by manufacturer.

  1. Open:
    Settings → Apps
  2. Select:
    Special App Access
    Or:
    Special Access
  3. Select:
    Install Unknown Apps
  4. Find and select Downloader.
  5. Turn on:
    Allow From This Source

If IPTV Smarters Pro or IBO Player Pro is installed directly from Google Play Store, this permission may not be required.

Option 1: Install IPTV Smarters Pro

Free App

IPTV Smarters Pro is recommended for customers who prefer a free IPTV player.

Part 1: Install IPTV Smarters Pro

  1. Open the Downloader app.
  2. Allow requested permissions.
  3. Select the URL or code field.
  4. Enter the Downloader code:
    250931
  5. Click Go.
  6. The TROYPOINT Toolbox page will open.
  7. Scroll down until you find:
    IPTV Smarters Pro
  8. Click Download.
  9. Wait for the APK file to download.
  10. When the installation screen appears, click Install.
  11. Wait for installation to finish.
  12. Click Done.
  13. Return to Downloader.
  14. Click Delete.
  15. Click Delete again to confirm.

Deleting the APK file frees device storage. IPTV Smarters Pro remains installed.

Part 2: Open IPTV Smarters Pro

  1. Return to the device home screen.
  2. Open the app list.
  3. Find and open:
    IPTV Smarters Pro
  4. When asked to select the device layout:
    • Choose TV on Google TV, Android TV, Xiaomi TV, Android boxes, and similar TV devices.
    • Choose Mobile on Android phones and tablets.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Select:
    LOGIN WITH XTREAM CODES API
  7. Read the app notice.
  8. Click Accept if requested.

Part 3: Add IPTVSMARTERZ Subscription

Enter the following information:

  • Any Name: IPTVSMARTERZ
  • Username: [YOUR IPTV USERNAME]
  • Password: [YOUR IPTV PASSWORD]
  • Server URL: [YOUR IPTVSMARTERZ SERVER URL]

Check every character carefully.

The username, password, and server URL must match the credentials supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ.

Click:

Add User

Wait for the app to display:

User added successfully

The app will begin downloading:

  • Live TV channels
  • Movies
  • Series
  • TV guide information

Do not close the app during the first loading process.

Option 2: Install IBO Player Pro

Premium App

IBO Player Pro is recommended for customers who prefer a premium IPTV player.

IBO Player Pro is a third-party app. It is not owned or developed by IPTVSMARTERZ.

IPTVSMARTERZ can provide IBO Player Pro activation through its reseller panel at the same price as the official app.

This helps accelerate activation and playlist setup.

Important: IBO Player Pro is optional. Do not replace IPTV Smarters Pro if you prefer a free app.

Part 1: Install IBO Player Pro

  1. Open the Downloader app.
  2. Select the URL or code field.
  3. Enter the Downloader code:
    481220
  4. Click Go.
  5. Wait for the IBO Player Pro APK to download.
  6. When the installation screen appears, click Install.
  7. Wait for installation to finish.
  8. Click Done or Open.
  9. Return to Downloader if needed.
  10. Delete the downloaded APK file to free device storage.

IBO Player Pro remains installed after the APK file is deleted.

Part 2: Find Device Information

  1. Open IBO Player Pro.
  2. On the first launch, the app will display device information.
  3. Write down or take a clear photo of:
    • MAC Address
    • Device Key

These details are required to activate the app and add the IPTVSMARTERZ playlist.

Part 3: Request Activation and Playlist Setup

Send the following information to:

[email protected]

Include:

  • Your IPTVSMARTERZ account email
  • MAC Address
  • Device Key
  • A clear photo of the IBO Player Pro activation screen

IPTVSMARTERZ support will activate the app and add the playlist.

Wait until support confirms the playlist was added.

Part 4: Restart Device

Once IPTVSMARTERZ support confirms the playlist was added:

  1. Fully restart the Android or Google TV device.
  2. Do not restart only the TV screen.

For streaming sticks and Android TV boxes:

  1. Unplug the device from power.
  2. Wait approximately 30 seconds.
  3. Plug the device back into power.

For Android TVs:

  1. Open the device power menu.
  2. Select Restart when available.
  3. If the restart option is unavailable, unplug the TV from power for approximately 30 seconds.

For Android phones and tablets:

  1. Hold the power button.
  2. Select Restart.

Wait for the device to restart completely.

Open IBO Player Pro.

Your IPTVSMARTERZ playlist should now appear.

After Installation

After the content finishes loading, you can access:

  • Live TV
  • Movies
  • Series
  • TV Guide
  • Favorites

Allow enough time for the first playlist and TV guide download.

Do not close the app while the content is loading.

If the App Does Not Appear

Google TV or Android TV

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. Select:
    See All Apps
  4. Find the installed IPTV app.
  5. Select:
    Open

You may also add the app to the home screen or Favorites row.

Android Phones or Tablets

  1. Open the app drawer.
  2. Search for the installed app.
  3. Press and hold the app icon.
  4. Add it to the home screen if needed.

Basic Troubleshooting

Downloader Is Not Available

  • Confirm the device uses Google Play Store.
  • Search for Downloader by AFTVnews.
  • Confirm the orange Downloader icon.
  • Restart Google Play Store.
  • Restart the device and search again.

Downloader Code Does Not Open

Confirm the correct code:

  • IPTV Smarters Pro: 250931
  • IBO Player Pro: 481220

Then:

  • Confirm the internet connection works.
  • Close and reopen Downloader.
  • Restart the device.
  • Enter the code again.

Installation Is Blocked

Confirm Downloader permission is enabled:

Settings → Apps or Security → Install Unknown Apps → Downloader → Allow

Menu wording may differ by device manufacturer.

IPTV Smarters Pro Login Error

Check:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Server URL
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Extra spaces before or after credentials

Do not manually change the credentials supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ.

IBO Player Pro Playlist Does Not Appear

  • Confirm IPTVSMARTERZ support added the playlist.
  • Confirm the MAC Address and Device Key were sent correctly.
  • Fully restart the device.
  • Do not restart only the TV screen.
  • Reopen IBO Player Pro after restart.

Channels Do Not Load

  1. Close the IPTV app.
  2. Fully restart the device.
  3. Confirm the internet connection works.
  4. Reopen the IPTV app.
  5. Allow the content to load.

App Is Slow or Freezing

  • Restart the device.
  • Close unused background apps.
  • Delete unnecessary files.
  • Clear the app cache if needed.
  • Confirm the internet connection is stable.

Do not use a VPN unless IPTVSMARTERZ support specifically asks you to use one.
