How to Install IPTV Apps on Apple Mac

Check whether the Mac uses Apple silicon or an Intel processor, install the compatible Smarters Pro or TiviMax IPTV Player Premium app, then connect the IPTVSMARTERZ subscription with Xtream Codes.

  • Smarters Pro: macOS 12.5 or later, Apple M1 or newer
  • TiviMax IPTV Player Premium: macOS 10.15 or later, Apple silicon compatible
Intel MacTiviMax IPTV Player Premium only

TiviMax requires macOS 10.15 or later and is compatible with Intel and Apple-silicon Macs. Smarters Pro requires an Apple M1 chip or newer.

Important Notice

IPTVSMARTERZ does not own, operate, or develop Smarters Pro or TiviMax IPTV Player.

Both are third-party IPTV player apps. They do not include channels, movies, series, IPTV credentials, or IPTV subscriptions.

This guide only helps IPTVSMARTERZ customers install a compatible IPTV player and connect their IPTVSMARTERZ subscription.

Available options:

  • Smarters Pro: Free download option for compatible Apple-silicon Macs
  • TiviMax IPTV Player Premium: Paid option for compatible Intel and Apple-silicon Macs

You only need one IPTV player.

Check Your Mac Before Installation

Check Mac Processor

  1. Click Apple menu in top-left corner.
  2. Select:
    About This Mac
  3. Check information next to:
    Chip
    Or:
    Processor

Apple-Silicon Mac

If you see one of following:

  • Apple M1
  • Apple M2
  • Apple M3
  • Apple M4
  • Newer Apple chip

You can use:

  • Smarters Pro
  • TiviMax IPTV Player Premium

Intel Mac

If you see:

  • Intel Core i3
  • Intel Core i5
  • Intel Core i7
  • Intel Core i9
  • Another Intel processor

Use:

  • TiviMax IPTV Player Premium

Smarters Pro Mac version requires Apple M1 chip or newer.

Option 1: Install Smarters Pro

Free Download Option

Smarters Pro is available as free download with optional in-app purchases.

Compatibility requirements:

  • macOS 12.5 or later
  • Apple M1 chip or newer

Important: Several App Store apps use similar names.

Install only app named:

Smarters Pro

Confirm developer is:

Tech Smarters Private Limited

Part 1: Install Smarters Pro

  1. Open App Store on Mac.
  2. Click search field in top-left corner.
  3. Search for:
    Smarters Pro
  4. Find correct app.
  5. Confirm developer is:
    Tech Smarters Private Limited
  6. Click:
    Get
  7. Click:
    Install
  8. Enter Apple Account password or use Touch ID when requested.
  9. Wait for installation to finish.
  10. Click:
    Open

You can also find installed app inside:

Finder → Applications

Part 2: Select Login Method

  1. Open Smarters Pro.
  2. Accept terms, privacy notice, or required permissions when requested.
  3. Select playlist login option.
  4. Choose:
    Login with Xtream Codes API

Depending on app version, wording may appear as:

  • Xtream Codes API
  • Add User
  • Add Playlist
  • Add Your Playlist

Choose Xtream Codes option when available.

Part 3: Add IPTVSMARTERZ Subscription

Enter following details:

Any Name:
IPTVSMARTERZ
Username:
[YOUR IPTV USERNAME]
Password:
[YOUR IPTV PASSWORD]
Server URL:
[YOUR IPTVSMARTERZ SERVER URL]

Check every character carefully.

Username, password, and server URL must exactly match credentials supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ.

Click:

Add User

Or:

Login

Wait for app to download:

  • Live TV channels
  • Movies
  • Series
  • TV guide information

Do not close app during first loading process.

Option 2: Install TiviMax IPTV Player Premium

Paid App

TiviMax IPTV Player Premium is recommended for customers who prefer a paid Mac IPTV player.

TiviMax is third-party app. It is not owned, developed, sold, or activated by IPTVSMARTERZ.

App supports:

  • Xtream Codes
  • M3U playlists
  • Stalker portals
  • Multiple IPTV services
  • TV Guide and EPG
  • Catch-up
  • Favorites
  • Audio and subtitle controls

TiviMax Premium is purchased directly through Apple App Store.

Displayed price may vary by country or App Store region.

Compatibility requirement:

  • macOS 10.15 or later

Part 1: Install TiviMax IPTV Player Premium

  1. Open App Store on Mac.
  2. Click search field.
  3. Search for:
    Tivimax IPTV Player Premium
  4. Find app named:
    Tivimax IPTV Player (Premium)
  5. Confirm developer is:
    AFIFA CHAUHDARY
  6. Click displayed price.
  7. Confirm purchase using:
    • Apple Account password
    • Touch ID
    • Another available Apple payment confirmation
  8. Wait for installation to finish.
  9. Click:
    Open

Part 2: Add IPTV Service

  1. Open TiviMax IPTV Player Premium.
  2. Select option to add new service or profile.

Depending on app version, wording may appear as:

  • Add Service
  • Add Profile
  • Add Playlist
  • New Profile

Select:

Xtream Codes

Enter following information:

Profile Name:
IPTVSMARTERZ
Username:
[YOUR IPTV USERNAME]
Password:
[YOUR IPTV PASSWORD]
Server Address:
[YOUR IPTVSMARTERZ SERVER URL]

Confirm details contain no extra spaces.

Click:

Add

Or:

Save

Or:

Login

Wait for TiviMax to load IPTVSMARTERZ playlist.

Do not close app during first loading process.

After Installation

After content finishes loading, you can access:

  • Live TV
  • Movies
  • Series
  • TV Guide
  • Favorites

Allow enough time for first playlist and EPG download.

First loading process may take longer depending on playlist size and internet speed.

Restart App and Mac

When playlist does not appear correctly:

  1. Close IPTV app completely.
  2. Click app name in top menu bar.
  3. Select:
    Quit
  4. You may also press:
    Command + Q
  5. Restart Mac:
    Apple menu → Restart
  6. Wait for Mac to restart completely.
  7. Reopen IPTV app.

Basic Troubleshooting

Smarters Pro Does Not Appear in App Store

Check Mac processor:

Apple menu → About This Mac

Smarters Pro requires:

  • macOS 12.5 or later
  • Apple M1 chip or newer

Intel Mac users should use TiviMax IPTV Player Premium.

App availability may also depend on Apple Account country or region.

Wrong Smarters App Appears

Several apps use similar names.

Confirm:

  • App name: Smarters Pro
  • Developer: Tech Smarters Private Limited

Do not install another app with similar name.

Wrong TiviMax App Appears

Confirm:

  • App name: TiviMax IPTV Player (Premium)
  • Developer: AFIFA CHAUHDARY

Do not confuse it with unrelated apps using similar names.

Login Error

Check:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Server URL
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Extra spaces before or after credentials
  • Correct http:// or https:// prefix

Do not manually change credentials supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ.

Channels Do Not Load

  1. Close IPTV app completely.
  2. Confirm Mac internet connection works.
  3. Restart Mac.
  4. Reopen IPTV app.
  5. Allow playlist to reload.

TiviMax Stream Does Not Load

  1. Open TiviMax settings.
  2. Go to:
    Settings → Player → Preferred Format
  3. Test available format:
    • TS
    • M3U8
    • None
  4. Return to profile list.
  5. Reload active IPTVSMARTERZ profile.

TV Guide Does Not Load in TiviMax

  1. Open:
    Settings → EPG
  2. Select:
    Download
  3. Wait for EPG download to finish.
  4. Reload active profile if needed.

A separate EPG URL is normally not required when IPTVSMARTERZ credentials load correctly through Xtream Codes.

App Is Slow or Freezing

  • Quit and reopen app.
  • Restart Mac.
  • Close unused applications.
  • Confirm enough storage is available.
  • Update macOS when compatible.
  • Update IPTV app through App Store.
  • Confirm internet connection is stable.

Do not use VPN unless IPTVSMARTERZ support specifically asks you to use one.
