How to Install IPTV Apps on Apple TV

Install iSTB Player, Smarters Player Lite, or IBO Pro Player from the Apple TV App Store, then use the matching playlist, Xtream Codes, or support activation steps to connect your IPTVSMARTERZ subscription.

IPTVSMARTERZ does not own, operate, or develop iSTB Player, Smarters Player Lite, or IBO Pro Player.

All apps listed in this guide are third-party IPTV players. They do not include channels, movies, series, or IPTV subscriptions.

This guide only helps IPTVSMARTERZ customers install compatible IPTV players and connect their IPTVSMARTERZ subscription.

Available options:

  • iSTB Player: Recommended free app
  • Smarters Player Lite: Alternative free app
  • IBO Pro Player: Premium paid app

You only need one IPTV player.

Option 1: Install iSTB Player

Recommended Free App

iSTB Player is recommended for Apple TV users because it is designed specifically for tvOS.

  • Recording capabilities depending on app version

Part 1: Install iSTB Player

  1. Turn on Apple TV.
  2. Open the App Store.
  3. Select the search icon.
  4. Search for:
    iSTB Player
  5. Select the correct app from the search results.
  6. Click Get or the download icon.
  7. Confirm installation with the Apple ID when requested.
  8. Wait for installation to finish.
  9. Click Open.

Part 2: Add IPTVSMARTERZ Subscription

  1. Open iSTB Player.
  2. Select the option to add a new playlist, portal, or account.
  3. Enter the details supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ:
    Playlist Name:
    IPTVSMARTERZ
    Username:
    [YOUR IPTV USERNAME]
    Password:
    [YOUR IPTV PASSWORD]
    Server URL:
    [YOUR IPTVSMARTERZ SERVER URL]
  4. Save the account or playlist.
  5. Wait for the app to load:
    • Live TV channels
    • Movies
    • Series
    • TV guide information

Do not close the app during the first loading process.

Menu names may differ slightly depending on the installed iSTB Player version.

Option 2: Install Smarters Player Lite

Alternative Free App

Smarters Player Lite is another free IPTV player option available through the Apple TV App Store.

Part 1: Install Smarters Player Lite

  1. Open the App Store on Apple TV.
  2. Select the search icon.
  3. Search for:
    Smarters Player Lite
  4. Select the correct app.
  5. Click Get or the download icon.
  6. Confirm installation with the Apple ID when requested.
  7. Wait for installation to finish.
  8. Click Open.

Part 2: Select Login Method

  1. Open Smarters Player Lite.
  2. Accept the app terms or privacy notice when requested.
  3. Select:
    LOGIN WITH XTREAM CODES API

Part 3: Add IPTVSMARTERZ Subscription

Enter the following information:

Any Name:
IPTVSMARTERZ
Username:
[YOUR IPTV USERNAME]
Password:
[YOUR IPTV PASSWORD]
Server URL:
[YOUR IPTVSMARTERZ SERVER URL]

Check every character carefully.

The username, password, and server URL must match the credentials supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ.

Click:

Add User

Or:

Login

Wait for the app to download:

  • Live TV channels
  • Movies
  • Series
  • TV guide information

Do not close the app during the first loading process.

Option 3: Install IBO Pro Player

Premium App

IBO Pro Player is recommended for customers who prefer a premium IPTV player.

IBO Pro Player is a third-party app. It is not owned or developed by IPTVSMARTERZ.

IPTVSMARTERZ can provide app activation through its reseller panel at the same price as the official app.

This helps accelerate activation and playlist setup.

Important: IBO Pro Player is optional. Choose iSTB Player or Smarters Player Lite if you prefer a free app.

Part 1: Install IBO Pro Player

  1. Open the App Store on Apple TV.
  2. Select the search icon.
  3. Search for:
    IBO Pro Player
  4. Select the correct app.
  5. Click Get or the displayed download button.
  6. Confirm installation with the Apple ID when requested.
  7. Wait for installation to finish.
  8. Click Open.

Part 2: Find Device Information

  1. Open IBO Pro Player.
  2. On the first launch, the app will display device information.
  3. Write down or take a clear photo of:
    • MAC Address
    • Device Key

These details are required to activate the app and add the IPTVSMARTERZ playlist.

Part 3: Request Activation and Playlist Setup

Send the following information to:

[email protected]

Include:

  • Your IPTVSMARTERZ account email
  • MAC Address
  • Device Key
  • A clear photo of the IBO Pro Player activation screen

IPTVSMARTERZ support will activate the app and add the playlist.

Wait until support confirms the playlist was added.

Part 4: Restart Apple TV

Once IPTVSMARTERZ support confirms the playlist was added:

  1. Open Apple TV:
    Settings → System
  2. Select:
    Restart
  3. Wait for Apple TV to restart completely.
  4. Open IBO Pro Player.

Your IPTVSMARTERZ playlist should now appear.

Do not restart only the TV screen. Restart the Apple TV device itself.

After Installation

After the content finishes loading, you can access:

  • Live TV
  • Movies
  • Series
  • TV Guide
  • Favorites

Allow enough time for the first playlist and TV guide download.

Do not close the app while the content is loading.

Basic Troubleshooting

App Does Not Appear in App Store

  • Confirm the app name is entered correctly.
  • Search for iSTB Player, Smarters Player Lite, or IBO Pro Player.
  • Confirm the internet connection works.
  • Close and reopen the App Store.
  • Restart Apple TV.
  • Check Apple ID country or region restrictions.

Login Error

Check:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Server URL
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Extra spaces before or after credentials

Do not manually change the credentials supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ.

IBO Pro Player Playlist Does Not Appear

  • Confirm IPTVSMARTERZ support added the playlist.
  • Confirm the MAC Address and Device Key were sent correctly.
  • Restart the Apple TV device.
  • Reopen IBO Pro Player.

Channels Do Not Load

  1. Close the IPTV app.
  2. Confirm the internet connection works.
  3. Restart Apple TV.
  4. Reopen the IPTV app.
  5. Allow the content to load.

App Is Slow or Freezing

  • Close and reopen the app.
  • Restart Apple TV.
  • Confirm Apple TV has enough available storage.
  • Confirm the internet connection is stable.

Do not use a VPN unless IPTVSMARTERZ support specifically asks you to use one.
