STBEmu portal and MAC-address setup guide

How to Install and Set Up STBEmu IPTV App

Install one STBEmu version on a supported Android-based device, enter the private IPTVSMARTERZ portal URL, send the MAC address displayed inside STBEmu for activation, then fully exit and reopen the app.

STBEmu normally uses portal and MAC-address authentication.

STBEmu normally uses:

  • private portal URL
  • MAC address displayed inside STBEmu
  • IPTVSMARTERZ activation

STBEmu normally does not use:

  • Xtream Codes username/password
  • standard IPTV server URL login
  • M3U login

STBEmu is separate from a physical MAG box.

The MAG guide covers physical MAG boxes. This guide covers the app-based MAG-style interface on supported Android-based devices. Use the MAC address shown inside STBEmu. Use the physical device MAC only if IPTVSMARTERZ support specifically requests it.

IPTVSMARTERZ must register the STBEmu MAC address before the service can connect.

Part 1: Install STBEmu

Android TV, Android Box, Phone, or Tablet

  1. Open Google Play Store.
  2. Sign in with a Google account if requested.
  3. Search for:

Do not imply these Firestick instructions apply to Vega OS.

  1. Open STBEmu.
  2. Press and hold the OK button on the remote for several seconds.
  3. A popup menu will appear.

    New Profile

[email protected]

Include:

  • IPTVSMARTERZ account email

  2. Wait while the app connects to the portal.
  3. A loading bar may appear while the connection is established.

  5. Open STBEmu.

Restart the streaming device itself. Turning the TV screen off and on is not enough.

  2. Press and hold the OK button on the remote.
  3. Select:
    Media Player
