How to Install IPTV Apps on LG Smart TV

Choose the free IPTV Smarters Pro app or the premium ibPlayer Pro app, install it from LG Content Store, and connect the IPTVSMARTERZ subscription.

Important Notice

IPTVSMARTERZ does not own, operate, or develop IPTV Smarters Pro or ibPlayer Pro.

Both are third-party IPTV player apps. They do not include channels, movies, series, IPTV credentials, or IPTV subscriptions.

This guide only helps IPTVSMARTERZ customers install a compatible IPTV player and connect their IPTVSMARTERZ subscription.

Available options:

  • IPTV Smarters Pro: Free app option
  • ibPlayer Pro: Premium paid app option

You only need one IPTV player.

Option 1: Install IPTV Smarters Pro

Free App

IPTV Smarters Pro is recommended for customers who prefer a free IPTV player on LG Smart TV.

Part 1: Open LG Content Store

  1. Turn on LG Smart TV.
  2. Press Home button on LG remote.
  3. Open:
    LG Content Store
  4. Select search icon.
  5. Search exactly for:
    IPTVSmartersPro

Do not add spaces when searching.

Part 2: Install IPTV Smarters Pro

  1. Select IPTVSmartersPro from search results.
  2. Click:
    Install
  3. Wait for installation to finish.
  4. Click:
    Launch
    Or:
    Open
  5. Accept app Terms & Conditions when requested.

Part 3: Select Login Method

  1. Open IPTV Smarters Pro.
  2. Select:
    LOGIN WITH XTREAM CODES API
  3. If app asks for device type, choose:
    TV

Part 4: Add IPTVSMARTERZ Subscription

Enter following information:

Any Name:
IPTVSMARTERZ
Username:
[YOUR IPTV USERNAME]
Password:
[YOUR IPTV PASSWORD]
Server URL:
[YOUR IPTVSMARTERZ SERVER URL]

Check every character carefully.

Username, password, and server URL must exactly match credentials supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ.

Select:

Add User

Or:

Login

Wait for app to download:

  • Live TV channels
  • Movies
  • Series
  • TV guide information

Do not close app during first loading process.

Option 2: Install ibPlayer Pro

Premium App

ibPlayer Pro is recommended for customers who prefer a premium IPTV player.

ibPlayer Pro is a third-party app. It is not owned or developed by IPTVSMARTERZ.

IPTVSMARTERZ can provide supported app activation and playlist setup through its reseller service at same price as official app.

This helps accelerate activation and setup.

Important: ibPlayer Pro is optional. Keep IPTV Smarters Pro if you prefer a free app.

Part 1: Open LG Content Store

  1. Press Home button on LG remote.
  2. Open:
    LG Content Store
  3. Select search icon.
  4. Search exactly for:
    ibPlayer Pro

Part 2: Install ibPlayer Pro

  1. Select ibPlayer Pro from search results.
  2. Click:
    Install
  3. Wait for installation to finish completely.
  4. Click:
    Launch
    Or:
    Open

Part 3: Find Device Information

When ibPlayer Pro opens for first time, activation screen will automatically display:

  • MAC Address
  • Device Key

Write down both details or take clear photo of activation screen.

These details are required to activate app and add IPTVSMARTERZ playlist.

Part 4: Request Activation and Playlist Setup

Send following information to:

[email protected]

Include:

  • Your IPTVSMARTERZ account email
  • MAC Address
  • Device Key
  • Clear photo of ibPlayer Pro activation screen

If you cannot find device information:

  1. Open ibPlayer Pro.
  2. Stay on activation screen.
  3. Take clear photo showing full screen.
  4. Send photo to IPTVSMARTERZ support.

Wait until support confirms activation and playlist setup are complete.

Part 5: Reload ibPlayer Pro

Once IPTVSMARTERZ support confirms setup:

  1. Close ibPlayer Pro.
  2. Wait several seconds.
  3. Open ibPlayer Pro again.
  4. Allow playlist to load.

Your IPTVSMARTERZ content should appear automatically, including:

  • Live TV channels
  • Movies and VOD
  • Series
  • TV Guide and EPG

If playlist does not appear, restart LG TV fully.

Restart LG TV

  1. Close IPTV app.
  2. Turn LG TV off.
  3. Unplug TV from power.
  4. Wait approximately 30 seconds.
  5. Plug TV back into power.
  6. Turn TV on.
  7. Reopen IPTV app.
Turning screen off and on without unplugging TV may not perform full restart.

After Installation

After content finishes loading, you can access:

  • Live TV
  • Movies
  • Series
  • TV Guide
  • Favorites

Allow enough time for first playlist and EPG download.

Do not close app while content is loading.

Basic Troubleshooting

App Does Not Appear in LG Content Store

  • Confirm app name is entered exactly.
  • For free app, search IPTVSmartersPro without spaces.
  • For paid app, search ibPlayer Pro.
  • Confirm LG TV is connected to internet.
  • Close and reopen LG Content Store.
  • Restart LG TV.
  • App availability may depend on TV model, webOS version, or LG account region.

IPTV Smarters Pro Login Error

Check:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Server URL
  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Extra spaces before or after credentials
  • Correct http:// or https:// prefix

Do not manually change credentials supplied by IPTVSMARTERZ.

ibPlayer Pro Playlist Does Not Appear

  • Confirm IPTVSMARTERZ support completed setup.
  • Confirm MAC Address and Device Key were sent correctly.
  • Close and reopen ibPlayer Pro.
  • Fully restart LG TV.
  • Allow enough time for playlist and EPG to load.

Channels Do Not Load

  1. Close IPTV app.
  2. Confirm internet connection works.
  3. Unplug LG TV from power.
  4. Wait approximately 30 seconds.
  5. Restart TV.
  6. Reopen IPTV app.
  7. Allow content to load.

App Is Slow or Freezing

  • Close and reopen app.
  • Restart LG TV.
  • Remove unused apps if TV storage is low.
  • Update app through LG Content Store.
  • Update LG TV software when available.
  • Confirm internet connection is stable.

Do not use VPN unless IPTVSMARTERZ support specifically asks you to use one.
